Prince Youssouf Amuda Lawal (Obelawo), OON, was a distinguished industrialist and visionary entrepreneur whose legacy forms the foundation of LOPIN LIMITED. The business was established in the years leading up to its formal incorporation on 15 November 1976 — emerging from his bold ambition to create a world-class Nigerian manufacturing company delivering high-quality, internationally compliant piping solutions.
At a time when regional industrial capacity was still developing, he demonstrated exceptional foresight, courage, and commitment to excellence — establishing three core principles that continue to guide the company today: investment in advanced production technologies, strict adherence to international quality standards, and an uncompromising philosophy of excellence.
Known for his integrity, discipline, and deep sense of responsibility to people and community, Prince Obelawo built enduring relationships and navigated complex environments with clarity and honour. His passing in March 2026 marked the end of an era — yet his legacy lives on in the systems he built, the relationships he nurtured, and the vision he set in motion.

Pst. Princess Bolanle has been part of LOPIN's story from the very beginning. Present at the company's founding in Ibadan, she grew under the mentorship of the founder — her father, Prince Youssouf Amuda Lawal (Obelawo), OON. Her early involvement gave her practical experience across factory operations, sales, procurement, and the installation of production machinery with international partners.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and an MBA from England, complementing her hands-on experience with strong academic grounding. Beyond business, she leads the Bola Sarah Adedimeji Foundation (BSA), driving initiatives in literacy, economic empowerment, and community development. She also serves in international roles focused on women's leadership and capacity building.
A speaker, entrepreneur, and author, she is known for resilience, discipline, and purpose-driven leadership. Her appointment as Chairman reflects a natural continuation of her lifelong commitment to LOPIN and her dedication to guiding the company into its next phase of growth and renewal.
